Ambika Shekhawat

I am a corporate and commercial law professional with a Master’s in Corporate and Commercial Laws (LLM) from Queen Mary University of London and a B.A. LL.B (Hons.). My experience spans litigation, corporate advisory, contract management, and compliance. Currently, I work as a Contract & Commercial Manager at Cognecto Pvt. Ltd., where I manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, draft and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, vendor agreements, SLAs), and oversee compliance tracking and documentation management. I work closely with cross-functional teams to assess legal and commercial risks, streamline processes, and ensure regulatory alignment in business operations. Prior to this, I gained litigation experience as a Litigation Associate at the Chambers of the Additional Advocate General, Rajasthan High Court, where I assisted in trial preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings, and case documentation. This role strengthened my analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on complex matters under strict timelines. Throughout my career, I have developed strong competencies in legal research, structured drafting, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and stakeholder coordination. I bring a commercially oriented mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to translate complex legal frameworks into practical business solutions.
