About

I am an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi with a strong academic and professional foundation in litigation, legal research, and interdisciplinary legal scholarship. I completed my B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala with a CGPA of 9.2, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Professionally, I am practicing with Pitambara Legal Associates and Shaheer Law Offices in New Delhi, where I regularly appear before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and district courts including Tis Hazari, Dwarka, Patiala House, and Karkardooma Courts. My work primarily involves legal research, drafting pleadings, writ petitions, counter-affidavits, agreements, and legal notices, along with assisting in court proceedings and appearing as arguing counsel in civil, criminal, and commercial matters. Earlier, I worked with an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India, where I gained substantial exposure to constitutional and appellate litigation. This role involved assisting in Supreme Court matters, preparing legal briefs, conducting in-depth case law research, and drafting petitions and applications for higher courts. Alongside my litigation practice, I have an extensive academic and research background. I have authored and presented numerous research papers and book chapters on diverse areas of law including constitutional law, intellectual property rights, cyber law, criminal law, human rights, and digital governance. My research on topics such as pharmaceutical patents and rights in India, cybercrime against women, sedition law comparative analysis, copyright and digitization issues, and third-generation human rights has been published in reputed academic journals and conference publications. I have also conducted empirical research, including a case study on the human rights of women prisoners in Tihar Central Jail, which later developed into a published book. My academic work has been presented at several national and international conferences, including events organized by National Law Universities and global academic institutions. My research on pharmaceutical patents was presented at the International Conference on Internet Technology and Secured Transactions at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford, where it was recognized among leading scholarly contributions. In addition to research publications, I have contributed chapters to edited books on subjects such as juvenile delinquency, criminal responsibility, marital rape, and copyright law. My work reflects a focus on the intersection of law, technology, human rights, and public policy. I have also been invited as a panelist speaker, moderator, and academic contributor at several conferences and legal forums, reflecting my engagement with both legal practice and scholarly discourse. Overall, my professional profile combines active litigation practice with academic research and policy-oriented legal analysis, enabling me to approach legal problems from both practical and scholarly perspectives.
